How to maximize your earnings in StepN: Personal strategy guide for everyone and How to pick the right type of sneakers for you and maximize your earnings in StepN.

How to maximize your earnings in stepn is quite a feat. Maximizing your earnings is not that hard to achieve. All we need is to gather data to effectively earn more tokens. My personal journey started on the 15th of May 2022, when I first bought my sneaker. I don’t have much funding so I purchased one shoe. I have to be clever upon buying the type of sneaker and how to earn from it. According to the game, as I understood it correctly, you would have to walk, jog, or run to earn rewards and then, later on, convert to fiat/cash. This is my personal strategy on how to maximize your earnings in stepn and have 300 GST more or less in 30 days.

Choosing a sneaker

The first thing you need to do is to choose a sneaker that fits your capacity to either walk, jog or run. To achieve maximum output you need to consider the fact that you will be doing this every day so you get the most returns.

Sneakers

A Walker has 1-6 km/hr in which the required speed must be reached in order to be rewarded below the required speed will give you less or zero rewards. This type of sneaker also gives 4 GST per 1 energy spent and will vary depending on your speed, level, internet connection, and durability of your sneaker( always keep your sneaker at 100% durability for best output).

Walker

A Jogger has 4-10 km/hr which is quite the average speed for everyone. The speed requirement is easily achieved during a jog so you won’t be having a hard time pushing yourself. This type of sneaker gives 5 GST per 1 energy spent and also varies the same factor as the walker.

Jogger

A Runner has 8-20 km/hr which has a faster speed requirement than jogger. It is suitable for those who are already running at this pace. This type of sneaker gives you 6 GST per 1 energy spent. and varies the same factor as the other sneakers.

Runner

A Trainer has 1-20 km/hr which is quite flexible for a slow pacer or a speedster. This gives you 4-6 GST per 1 energy spent and also varies the same factor as the other sneakers. Though this one is the most pricy among all types of sneakers, I consider this the best asset to acquire.

Trainer

Choose the best sneaker for you to maximize your rewards. As for me, I picked the Trainer so I can walk or run at different paces. It is quite an expensive shoe but it won’t strain me that much nor will slow my pace down during the workout. I am doing this every day of the week so I have to stay in shape. Doing this each and every day will always have a toll on my body so I would consider having a flexible speed requirement is the best one for me.

The Attributes

There are four attributes in a sneaker that affects your earning factor. To get the most out of your sneaker you must consider these attributes.

Efficiency – enhances GST earnings

Luck – Enhances Mystery box drop rate

Comfort -Enhances GMT earning at level 30

Resilience – Reduce the repair cost

For the attributes, I would recommend having high efficiency then followed by resilience. As these two are the key factor of your earnings, efficiency must or should be greater than your resilience. This is because we want to maximize earnings first than the durable cost. To calculate how much you would want for your sneakers attribute checkout the stepn guide here. Just input your sneaker data and it will maximize the attribute points for you.

Sneaker Level

The level of your sneaker is another great factor that affects your earnings. The higher the level the more points you can add to your sneaker and then the more you earn.

Basically the greater efficiency of your sneaker the better. So mostly points are allocated in this attribute to maximize your earning capacity.

When I bought my sneaker I choose to start at level 5. At this level, you will get a decent amount of earnings for you to start your ROI.

Having a good sneaker is a start. Now it’s time to start earning.

I bought my first sneaker and I was planning to gain GST from jogging every morning. So I tried to maximize everything that I could. I found a good sneaker, a common Trainer with good attributes. Then I waited for the next day for the energy to charge.

On the next day I started to jogg around the house just to know how it works. I just did 10 minutes, enough to consume 2 energy for 1 sneaker. I earned more than 8.8 GST, less for the cost of repair is at 6.8 GST.

Then I thought that I would level up my sneaker so I could earn more point to add on the attributes especially for efficiency. I did my calculation in the Stepn profit calculator guide to get the most out of my sneaker. So I had it to level 11 the most profitable level. That then I set my goals. For a week I have leveled my shoe to level 10 and stop to earn GST for level 11. I have my extra solana so I made an extra level boosting my time in a day. In 24 hours before my energy repleanish I would level up my sneaker two times so when my energy is full I could make more earnings then Invest again.

Day 1

At level 5 sneaker I earned 6.8 GST total. Level up my sneaker and cost me 6 GST.

Day 2

At level 6 sneaker I earned 8.8 GST total. Level up my sneaker and cost me 7 GST. After 420 minutes I leveled up my sneaker again to level 8 from my extra solana, converted to GST.

Day 3

At level 8 sneaker I earned 8.2 GST total. Level up my sneaker and cost me 9 GST.

Day 4

At level 9 sneaker I earned 10.1 GST total. I waited for my GST to reach 30 GST and 30 GMT for level 10.

Day 5

At level 9 sneaker I earned 11.0 GST total. Leveled up my sneaker and cost me 30 GST and 30 GMT.

Day 6

At level 10 sneaker I earned 11.1 GST total. Stop my level up and start to earn.

I will get to level 11 after 2 weeks and that should cost me 11 GST. For now I am doing this for 3 days as the time of writing and I am counting my starting date for ROI from the day I get to level 10 sneaker. I am making 10 – 11 GST per day with repair cost. And that with the current price of solana I would make ROI of 36 days. In my current earning I would have 10 GST per day for 30 days and it would be around 300 GST.

GST to GMT to SOL

300GST =575GMT=16.158 SOL

Quite a long shot when you can directly buy higher level sneakers. But as for me, I did not have enough funds so I tried to work it out. I hope it helps and inspire you. I would love to hear your comment and suggestion below.

Have a great day, thank you.
