  1. By bus – From Cebu City’s North Bus Terminal, there are buses that go directly to Tuburan. Once you arrive in Tuburan town proper, you can take a motorcycle ride (locally called habal-habal) to Molobolo Cold Spring. The travel time is around 20-30 minutes and the fare is around Php 50-100 per person.

  2. By private car – If you have your own car, you can take the Cebu North Coastal Road and then take the Cebu Transcentral Highway. Once you reach Tuburan town proper, you can follow the signs going to Molobolo Cold Spring. The travel time is around 2-3 hours depending on the traffic.

  3. By motorcycle – You can also take a motorcycle ride (locally called habal-habal) from Tuburan town proper to Molobolo Cold Spring. The travel time is around 20-30 minutes and the fare is around Php 50-100 per person.

2. From Tuburan Parish church, go straight ahead then go right from the crossing.

3. From Tuburan Parish church turn right going through the main Tuburan main road. Passing the Tuburan Cafe continue straight ahead on the main road.

4. When you reach this fork, turn right going to Brgy. Carmelo and Molobolo.

Note: Unfortunately, large vehicle is not allowed to pass this bridge due to its structural damage. But the good thing is that there is another route around the bridge.

5. Going a few meters to the left from the Sangi bridge you will find an opening to the right going through the shallow part of the river bank that separates these unique places from the town and passing through the thick Sugar Can plantation and back to the main road going to Molobolo spring.

6. There will be another fork pointing to Carmelo and Molobolo. Head straight going to Molobolo.

My take

Overall, Molobolo Cold Spring is an excellent place to visit if you want to experience the appeal of nature and also have some enjoyment in the water. The Molobolo cold spring is surrounded by rich plants/forestry and has crystal-clear waters that are excellent for unwinding and also swimming. There are likewise outing tables and also cottages that you can rent if you desire to remain much longer. Camping is also available and free of charge but don’t loiter around the area.
